Connect Stripe (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay)
Accept card payments through your own Stripe account, in one click with Stripe Connect or with your API key.
Stripe lets buyers pay by card, Apple Pay and Google Pay on a secure Stripe checkout page. Money goes to your Stripe account.
Before you start
You need a Stripe account that can accept live payments: sign up at stripe.com, complete Stripe's business verification and add your bank account. Check that your products are allowed under Stripe's restricted businesses list.
Option A: one click with Stripe Connect
If you see Connect with Stripe on the Payment methods page:
- Click Connect with Stripe.
- Sign in to Stripe (or create an account) and approve the connection.
- You're sent back to SellPass, and Stripe shows Connected via Stripe Connect.
- Tick Enable at checkout and click Save.
Platform fees are then taken automatically from each payment as an application fee, so there's nothing to pay later.
Option B: paste your secret key
- In Stripe, open Developers → API keys and copy your Secret key (
sk_live_…). A restricted key works too. - In SellPass, go to Payment methods → Stripe.
- Paste the key into Secret key.
- Leave Webhook signing secret empty: we create the webhook in your Stripe account for you. If you prefer to create it yourself, use the Webhook / callback URL shown on the page and paste its
whsec_…secret. - Set Mode to Live, tick Enable at checkout and click Save.
- Click Test connection to confirm everything works.
Test before going live
Use your test key (sk_test_…) and Mode Sandbox / test, and pay with Stripe's test card 4242 4242 4242 4242 (any future date, any CVC). Switch back to your live key and Live mode when you're done.
Security: secrets are encrypted and never shown again after saving. Leave a secret field blank to keep the saved one.
