Connect PayPal

Create a PayPal REST app

1. Sign in at developer.paypal.com with your PayPal business account.
2. Open Apps & Credentials, switch to Live (top right) and click Create App.
3. Name it, for example My SellPass store, and create it.
4. Copy the Client ID and the Secret.

Add it to SellPass

1. Go to Payment methods → PayPal.
2. Paste the Client ID and Secret.
3. Leave Webhook ID empty: we register the webhook automatically. Orders are also confirmed when the buyer returns from PayPal, so payments are never missed.
4. Set Mode to Live, tick Enable at checkout and click Save.
5. Click Test connection.

Testing

Create a separate app under Sandbox in the PayPal developer dashboard, use those credentials with Mode Sandbox / test, and pay with a PayPal sandbox buyer account.

Tip: digital goods are a common target for PayPal "item not received" claims. Turn on proof of delivery so you can answer every claim with evidence.
