Stop fraud with Fraud Shield

Automatic checks

Tick the checks you want:

• Block VPNs
• Block proxies
• Block Tor
• Block disposable emails: throwaway addresses such as 10-minute mail.

VPN, proxy and Tor detection needs an IP intelligence provider. Choose proxycheck.io or IPQualityScore and paste your own API key from that service. Lookups are cached for 6 hours, and if the provider is down, checkout is allowed so you never lose genuine sales. With None, only the built-in disposable-email list is used.

Velocity limit

Max orders per IP per hour stops someone placing dozens of orders quickly, which is typical of card testing. 0 turns it off. A value like 5 suits most stores.

Click Save checks.

Blacklist rules

Under Add rule, choose what to block and enter the value:

Add an optional note saying why, and click Add to blacklist. Matching checkouts are rejected.

You can also blacklist straight from an order or a customer with Blacklist email / IP.

Review rules: hold instead of block

Choose Review rule: hold if email/fields contain… to let the payment go through but hold the order before anything is delivered. Use it for words or patterns you're unsure about. Held orders wait for you under Orders held for review.

Shared platform blacklist

The read-only Platform shared blacklist lists known fraudsters blocked across all SellPass stores. It protects you automatically.

Tip: the top of the page shows how many orders were flagged in the last 24 hours. A sudden jump usually means someone is testing stolen cards: tighten the velocity limit.
