Use the API

The SellPass REST API lets your own systems do anything you do in the dashboard: add stock, create products, read orders, issue refunds and more.

Create a key

1. Go to API keys.
2. Enter a Key name that says where it's used, for example Production server.
3. Click Generate.
4. Copy the key now. It is shown only once.

Each key only ever sees its own shop.

Make your first request

The base URL is https://sellpass.net/api/v1. Send the key as a Bearer token:

A successful reply returns your shop's slug and currency.

Good to know

• Limit: 120 requests per minute per key. Beyond that you get HTTP 429.
• Money is always an integer in minor units (cents) plus a currency code: 1299 with USD means $12.99.
• Errors use standard HTTP codes with {"message": "…", "errors": {…}}.
• Lists are paginated with a meta block.

Keep keys safe

• Never put a key in a website's JavaScript or a public repository.
• Use a separate key per system, so you can revoke one without breaking the others.
• If a key leaks, click Revoke and generate a new one. The list shows when each key was last used.
