9 Ways to Increase Sales in Your Digital Goods Store
October 2, 2026
Getting your first sales is about being found. Growing beyond that is about earning more from every visitor. Here are nine tactics that consistently work for digital-goods stores, and how to set each one up.
1. Make every product page searchable
Name products the way buyers search ("Windows 11 Pro Retail Key — Global"), write a real description, and fill in the search title and description fields. SellPass adds the technical SEO for you: sitemaps, clean URLs and rich results that can show your price and stock in Google.
2. Run flash sales
A time-limited discount with a visible countdown gives buyers a reason to act now. Use them for launches, weekends and restocks. Low-stock badges ("only 3 left") add the same urgency.
3. Sell bundles
Bundles raise your average order value: "Game + DLC", "3 months + 12 months", "Starter pack". Price the bundle a little below the separate items so it feels like a deal.
4. Add one-click upsells at checkout
Offer a small, related add-on at checkout: an extra key, a longer warranty, a setup service. Buyers who are already paying often say yes.
5. Win back abandoned checkouts
Many buyers start checking out and get distracted. An automatic reminder email, optionally with a single-use coupon, brings a meaningful share of them back. Switch it on in Marketing & loyalty.
6. Reward repeat buyers
Give store credit on every order that buyers can spend next time. It costs you nothing until they come back, and it gives them a reason to.
7. Never lose a sale to "sold out"
When something sells out, let buyers join a restock waitlist (by email or Telegram) or take pre-orders that deliver automatically when stock arrives. You also learn exactly what to restock first.
8. Sell where your buyers already are
Your community may live in Telegram or Discord. A Telegram shop with a Mini App and a Discord /shop command let them buy without leaving the chat. List on the SellPass marketplace too, so buyers who don't know you yet can find you.
9. Let others sell for you
Start an affiliate programme and list it in the SellPass affiliate network, where affiliates can promote your store with one account. You only pay commission on real sales.
Measure and repeat
Check your analytics weekly: which products sell, where buyers come from, and how many checkouts are abandoned. SellPass emails you a weekly report so you don't have to remember. Double down on what works.
